The Benro Company was founded in 1995 and originally produced professional photographic tripods and heads. It has since developed into a large scale operation with a total of 65,000 square metres of factory and production area.
Benro has been a leader in the domestic China market for many years and it has now grown to export to over 40 countries in Asia, Europe and America.
Benro has pioneered a number of developments in materials and technology. Benro Carbon Fibre tubes used in their CF tripods and utilising Q1HM-8X technology have been very well received world wide. Likewise the metal components used in their tripods are solid magnesium alloy that provides greater vibration reduction and strength and is approximately 30% lighter than Aluminium Alloy. Furthermore all metal parts are protected with a combination of anodising and high temperature powder paint treatment.
Kenro first introduced Benro Tripods into the UK in 2009, they have been exceptionally well received both by the trade and directly by the end users even against very well established and well known existing brands, due to their functional and user friendly design, price and overall value for money.
