The Barr & Stroud Skyline 8x42 provides high definition images that will please the most discerning and experienced observer. Robust and precise mechanics round out these superb binoculars. It is only natural that BaK-4 glass has been manufactured into the prisms of these binoculars and that the optical surfaces have been anti-reflection multi-coated to increase luminosity and contrast.
High light grasp optics With their 42mm objective lenses delivering brilliant images in all lighting conditions (twilight, shaded woodland etc)the Barr & Stroud Skyline 8x42 is the ideal glass for the field trips of the serious birder or wildlife spotter.
Long eye relief eyepieces with rubber screw down eyeshields allow a full field of view for all users with or without spectacles (see middle picture showing one eyepiece in the down position).
The Barr & Stroud Skyline 8x42 has a standard tripod fitting point - an additional bracket is required and is not included.
Supplied complete with soft padded carrying case, neck straps and eyepiece rain guard. The objective dust caps are tethered to avoid accidental loss.
