Product Details
7x magnification, easier to hold steady in a seaway, in combination with 50mm objective lenses produce fantastic light gathering power essential for a night passage, delivering an exit pupil size of 7.15mm, exactly the same size as a fully dilated human eye. The built in illuminated compass, is visible in the eyepiece, allowing the user to take a bearing in daylight or darkness, useful for navigation or checking other shipping that may be on a collision course with your vessel. The Binocom also features a distance off reticule in the eyepiece which, when used with the built in scale, can be used to estimate distance off/height of charted objects. The Binocom is waterproof and rubber armoured for protection so it can be used in all weathers, or left in safety on a cockpit sole immersed in sea water! Supplied with case, floatation strap and lens cleaning cloth.
