Product Details
A step up from our Ocean Series binocular, the Mariner is designed to work at any time of the day or night and under all weather conditions. Bak4 roof prisms provide superior light transmission while fully multi coating on optics provide an exceptional level of contrast and natural colour reproduction. The Mariner features a built in compass which is fully visible when looking through the instrument. This enables the user to take the bearings of buoys and marks without having to resort to the use of a separate compass. The compass features a red light illuminator which enables the user to use the compass in total darkness with minimal loss of night vision. There is also a range finder reticule built in to the eyepiece which enables the user to calculate the ‘Distance Off’. Long eye relief provides the user with a full field of view with or without glasses, which is made easy by the fold down rubber eyecups fitted as standard. The Mariner is constructed with durable fibreglass reinforced plastic and covered with non-slip rubber armour making it easy hold a grip even in cold or wet environments. The Mariner is supplied with floatation strap and captive lens caps.
